WHEELS IN MOTION PREMIERE PHOTOS

Over 200 people attended the premiere of the Wheels in Motion documentary at the Dendy Cinema in Newtown on 1 September 2009. As part of the launch audiences were able to step back in time and travel onboard a vintage double decker bus to the screening. The two buses, a 1949 AEC Regent and a 1937 Leyland TD4 bedazzled residents when they graced busy King Street with full loads of passengers. Driven by two of the participants in the documentary and manned by two uniformed conductors these Sydney icons showcase the skills of the Sydney Bus Museum and their members. The premiere was proudly supported by Marrickville Council and screened as part of the Marrickville Cultural Festival.
